What a strange feeling to have Christmas in the summer! I also turn 34 today. Extra weird. So far it's been a lazy day of sleeping in, strolling downtown (the streets were finally peaceful after the Christmas frenzy this past week), trying chirimoya ice cream, taking more photos of cats, and watching random bits of American movies in the hostel living room. I'm happy to have an internet connection today to be able to Skype with my family and to receive all the sweet birthday wishes from friends on facebook all over the world.
