Pisco is grown in the Elqui Valley, inland from La Serena. We took the local bus to Pisco Elqui and enjoyed a tour of a pisco distillery, tasting a variety of Mistral brand pisco. It's kind of like really good whiskey. And it was kind of like being in Napa, you know where you feel like you aren't old enough yet to be enjoying life this much.
